Background
Neami National is conducting an evaluation of the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals services located in Whittlesea and La Trobe. This evaluation project aims to understand whether the services are working well and what organisational improvements may be required.
A project governance board will meet on a quarterly basis to provide input and guidance on the evaluation project and consists of Lived Experience Advisors, Indigenous Advisors, Service Consumer Advisors and Service Delivery Advisors.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking expressions of Interest for the Service Consumer Advisors who will have:
- Experience using mental health and or AOD services in Victoria
- A motivation to use their knowledge and experience to help improve the delivery of services to others
- Training and or experience in healthcare service evaluation methods is desirable but not required.
What will be required:
- Attending a governance meeting every 3 months either online or in person (1-2hrs per meeting)
- Reviewing documents and materials in preparation for each meeting (0.5-1hr per meeting)
Consumer Advisors will be remunerated $40 per hour for your time
