Background
Neami actively applies for funding to implement new models of service across Queensland. The design and development of these models need to be informed by those that have used or are using a service currently, to ensure we are meeting the needs of the people who utilise the services.
The panel will:
- explore opportunities and work on co-design of human centred new models of service
- meet when an opportunity presents itself. There will be no set schedule but rather called upon when needed
- convene at the Strathpine Living and Learning Centre (Brisbane North) but can also be attended via video or phone, from home or another Neami site
Who we are looking for
- Lived experience of mental ill health
- Experience of utilising services and programs
- Ability to be innovative and creative in your thinking
- Experience or willingness to work as part of team
- This will be a panel of people, so this opportunity is to register for the panel. This does not mean you will be required each time the panel meets, but rather called upon when an opportunity that would benefit from your specific skills or experience would be required.
- As recognition of your valuable time and experience a $60 gift voucher will be provided to you for each time you contribute in a panel discussion.
